As a loyal Acolyte in the service of His Most Holy Inquisition, it's always a pleasure to find that the heretic you just purged was carrying large sums of anonymous and easily-transferable money on their person. The reward of the righteous, you might say.
Heretics on their way to a secret auction of rare quasi-contraband artefacts are in the habit of carrying quite a lot of money.
So what's a Tech-Priest to do when he comes into possession of more money than most Imperial citizens will ever see in their lifetimes? He gets totally tricked out with every possible augmetic upgrade he can get his hands on. And a shiny suit of Dragon Scale power armour to go with it.
I did the math. A fully kitted-out tech-priest (well, RT Explorator) can easily dual-wield two twin-linked heavy weapons (and fire them on full auto, on the move, without penalty), if only the rules would allow for such.
Yeah, given his post-upgrade Strength and Toughness Octus here can quite happily trundle around carrying about 90kg of kit (more if he's wearing his Dragon Scale armour), so something like a Multi-laser wouldn't be a problem at all. He still needs the Bulging Biceps talent and can't get the Auto-stabilised trait until he's well past Ascension, but even so he's well on the way to becoming the party's heavy weapons platform.
Unfortunately the Agility penalties from all those cybernetics mean he's never going to qualify for dual-wielding anything. He'll just have to make do with one REALLY BIG gun.
